Hedy Lamarr (1914-2000) was an Austro-Hungarian-born American actress during Hollywood's Golden Age. More importantly, she was an inventor who during the World War II came up with the idea of frequency-hopping signal to prevent the torpedo's radio guidance system from being tracked or jammed.
Ms. Lamarr's invention gave birth to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that it is today ubiquitous in practically all devices that communicate with the Internet.
Johnny Depp has honored Ms. Hedy Lamarr with his own song titled "This is a song for Ms. Hedy Lamarr." I wanted to honor her with my form of art expression.
